Taylor Dunn

Taylor Dunn is a Director at Watershed Advisors. Prior to joining Watershed, Taylor served as the Deputy Assistant Superintendent of Early Childhood Strategy at the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE). In that role, she led all of the state’s efforts to expand access to high-quality early care and education for Louisiana children and their families, and she developed the state’s plan to utilize more than $1 billion in federal COVID-19 relief funding to support the state’s early childhood strategy. Prior to working in early childhood, she supported K-12 education policy as part of the Policy and Governmental Affairs team at LDOE.

Before working at the state level, Taylor taught high school English and special education in Laplace, La. She received her Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is a proud resident of the city of New Orleans.
