Lindsay Denman

Lindsay Denman is an education leader with over a decade of experience designing and implementing large-scale initiatives to improve student outcomes. She serves as a Director at Watershed Advisors on the K–12 Systems team.

Prior to joining Watershed, Lindsay spent 11 years at the Texas Education Agency, most recently leading the School Improvement division. In that role, she led the launch of a statewide school improvement strategy to improve performance across hundreds of schools by aligning state, regional, and district teams and ensuring policy, funding, and supports worked together to drive implementation. Her work also included leading the statewide strategy to strengthen district charter authorizing and expand high-quality school options.

Lindsay began her career as a high school Social Studies teacher, building a deep understanding of classroom practice and educator needs that continues to inform her work. She holds a Master of Education in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Anthropology, and German from the University of Texas at Austin. She lives in Austin, Texas.
