Leslie Camilo Sears
Leslie Camilo Sears is an Analyst at Watershed Advisors on the K-12 Systems team, where she partners with state education leaders to translate policy priorities into actionable strategies, building capacity for lasting improvement and ensuring decisions lead to meaningful outcomes for students.
Before joining Watershed, Leslie supported the implementation of teacher workforce policies in Massachusetts at Latinos for Education. In this role, she created resources to help school and state leaders translate new policy into practice. She also coordinated a statewide credential initiative at the New England Board of Higher Education focused on expanding access to industry-recognized credentials, bringing together postsecondary institutions and industry leaders to align education with workforce needs. Earlier in her career, she taught third through fifth grades in Colorado.
Leslie holds a Master of Arts in Education Policy from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Boyce College. She lives in Boston, MA.
