Lauren Carter

Lauren Carter serves as an Executive Assistant at Watershed Advisors.

Lauren was previously a program coordinator at the Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC). In this role she oversaw BREC’s data collection and reporting, including surveys and evaluations.

Lauren prides herself in being an analytical thinker who uses her diverse background to bring different perspectives into the education sphere.

Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology and a master’s degree in Biological and Ecological Sciences from the University of Rhode Island, where she was also a member of the women’s rowing team.

Lauren lives in Baton Rouge, LA., with her husband and two dogs, Willie and Waylon. In her free time, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, baking, and hiking.
