Laura Roncancio

Laura Roncancio is an Analyst at Watershed Advisors, where she supports the Early Childhood Education team.

Laura is driven by a deep belief in education as a tool for long-term economic mobility and systemic justice. As a dedicated education policy professional, she is passionate about dismantling systemic barriers and expanding access for all youth.

Prior to joining Watershed, Laura worked across education policy, on-the-ground school operations, and justice reform advocacy, including the Harvard Strategic Data Project, the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, and UnCommon Law. Her experience spans campus logistics, legislative research, and grassroots advocacy.

Laura earned her B.A. in Criminology and International Politics from the Pennsylvania State University and holds an M.Ed. in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Originally from Houston, TX, she currently resides in Boston, MA.
