Kelli Calhoun

Kelli is an Analyst at Watershed Advisors, supporting initiatives that aim to enhance access to high-quality educational products and services. She is committed to creating a more equitable educational system, grounded in the belief that every child deserves an education that uplifts their unique learning capabilities and empowers them to create the future they envision.

Prior to joining Watershed Advisors, Kelli served as a Special Education teacher in co-taught fifth- and sixth-grade classrooms in Ewa Beach, HI. She also worked for an early literacy startup named Dewey, supporting the development of a standards-aligned supplemental phonics program. 

Kelli holds a BA in Sociology from Princeton University, where she also played on the varsity women’s soccer team. For her undergraduate thesis research, Kelli conducted a qualitative interview project with college students experiencing housing instability. She examined the resources that these students utilized to continue their education and explored possible ways by which postsecondary education institutions may provide more support for students. Kelli currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
