Jill Wohrle

Jill Wohrle is a Director at Watershed Advisors, bringing deep experience in program implementation and creating student-centered opportunities.

Prior to joining Watershed, Jill served as the Vice President of Advising at Matriculate, where she oversaw the recruitment, training, and coaching of undergraduates to provide college advising to high-achieving, under-represented high school students. In her time at Matriculate, Jill led the creation of high-quality advising programming through skill-based training, curriculum development, data and system innovations, and providing support at scale. Previously, Jill was the Executive Director of School Operations at Newark Public Schools, where she provided strategic support to improve operational and budgetary challenges for New Jersey’s largest district. She also served in District of Columbia government, building career and postsecondary programming with the Department of Energy and the Environment and the State Superintendent for Education.

Jill holds a bachelor’s degree in International Politics from Georgetown University. She also holds a master’s degree in Public Affairs from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. She lives with her family in New Jersey.
