Hannah Jolibois

Hannah Jolibois is committed to using data-driven decisionmaking to plan and create lasting improvement in education systems. She firmly believes that education is a human right and that all children should have access to quality education from birth to college. She serves as an analyst for Watershed Advisors.

Prior to joining the Watershed team, Hannah worked as a budget analyst at the Louisiana Department of Education. While there she supported the Early Childhood and Food and Nutrition Teams, managing a portfolio of over $300 million in state and federal funding. In this role she acted as a strategic financial partner for program staff to implement and overcome barriers in quality and access to childcare for families. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked with staff to keep essential programs up and running and to best utilize stimulus funds to support communities. This role gave her experience in navigating complex government systems and regulations, a deep respect for the hard work of public servants, and an understanding of the ability of funding to leverage positive change.

Hannah obtained a B.A. in Public Health and International Studies from the University of Washington. During her time as an undergraduate she was involved with the research community and worked with the Svoboda Diaries Project to transcribe texts from the late 19th century Ottoman Iraq. She is happy to call the Puget Sound her home in beautiful Washington State.
