Ellie Bezos

Ellie is committed to improving both the quality and access to education for all students across the country. This commitment is guided by the belief that education is among the most basic of human rights and access to good education for all is the way to achieve a more unified future.

Ellie currently serves as an analyst at Watershed Advisors supporting early childhood education initiatives. Prior to joining Watershed, Ellie was a lead teacher in an Integrated Co-Taught classroom at a classical charter school in the South Bronx. In her most recent year, 75% of her students achieved or surpassed grade-level proficiency in reading, and 80% of her students achieved or surpassed grade-level proficiency in math.

Ellie holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Special and General Early Education from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Public Policy from the Batten School at the University of Virginia. Ellie currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif.
