Elise Alexander

Elise Alexander is a Director on the K–12 Systems team. She supports clients in building systems that deliver results for children at scale, working closely with senior leaders to turn strategy into execution.

Elise began her career as a Govern for America Fellow with the Louisiana Department of Education. There, she contributed to state-level policy efforts to improve outcomes for students with disabilities during the onset of COVID-19. Before joining Watershed, Elise was a Senior Associate at KONU, where she designed and facilitated adaptive leadership programs for leaders and organizations across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Elise earned her B.A. in Sociology from Harvard College with a minor in Educational Studies. She is based in New York City, where she enjoys marathon training and catching Broadway shows.
