Dorna Abdi

Dorna is passionate about leveraging strategy and data to support systems that benefit young people. She currently works as an Analyst for Watershed Advisors supporting early childhood. Dorna began her career as a high school math teacher in Houston, Texas, where she grew up.

She holds an MS in Education Data Science from Stanford University where she worked on multiple research projects utilizing data science and AI to support K-12 teachers. She also has a B.A. in both Economics and International Relations and Global Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Dorna dedicates her work to the students of KIPP Houston High School and Woods High School.
