Cynthia Ribustello

Cynthia Ribustello is an Analyst at Watershed Advisors, where she supports the Instructional Quality team.

Cynthia Ribustello developed her passion for education after witnessing firsthand the inequities faced by students in rural communities. She believes that access to a high-quality education is a fundamental opportunity that every child deserves.

Before joining Watershed, Cynthia served as a Teach For America Ignite Fellow, where she provided virtual instruction to elementary students in rural Hawaii. She continued her commitment to educational equity through America Reads, supporting students at the Ralph Bunche School in Harlem. Cynthia also interned in the U.S. House of Representatives for her hometown congressman, conducting research on education policy and legislation affecting children across North Carolina.

Cynthia earned a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Columbia University. She currently lives in New York City but remains deeply connected to her hometown of Tarboro, N.C.
