Alexa Miller-Smith

Alexa Miller-Smith is an analyst at Watershed Advisors, supporting early childhood education. She is passionate about using data and research to improve educational quality and increase access, particularly for underserved communities.

Alexa began her career as a middle school math teacher in Miami and then as a high school math teacher in Boston. She has an M.S. in Education Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from George Washington University. She lives in Seattle with her girlfriend and two dogs Potato and Petey.
