Claire Dennison is an experienced nonprofit leader, supporting organizations to grow and develop their ideas and their people. Her 20+ year professional career has been spent in higher education, K-12 college and career readiness, and with nonprofits in the college success and workforce development spaces.
Most recently, Claire served as interim CEO and Chief Program Officer at uAspire, a national nonprofit focused on college affordability. In this role she led development of the organization’ strategy, owned key external relationships & partnerships, and managed a growing, cross-regional team. In the 12 years at uAspire, she helped expand impact through scaling promising programs and systems while playing pivotal roles in advancing uAspire’s national profile and its financial sustainability.
Prior to uAspire, Claire worked at New Mission High School (Boston, MA), Tufts University Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and served as an education volunteer for the United States Peace Corps in Lesotho, Africa.
Claire holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Boston College and a master’s degree in education from Harvard University. She lives outside of Boston with her husband and two children.
